Stillness is what I am craving after 348 days of expeditious
skeltering and rushing around the boutiques and cocktails
and défilés and exhibitions and eateries. A calm moment,
a brief flow that hushes the constant humming of past
and future. Stillness such as forests and lakes, such
as snow-caped mountains and vastness fill me with
a warm and ingratiating silence. This is my meditation
after 348 days of 2017 and my oasis in the midst
of rush and noise.
193 miles from Munich to Ischgl. The journey itself as the reward. 173 minutes of pure joy and freedom. 224 minutes if you stand in awe of the highest mountain in Germany, take a dip in the Kochel lake and savor pastries at the village bakery. 184 minutes if 330PS make you sink into the pliant leather of the Panamera seats. Its’ power and energy give me stillness. Nestling down, watching the trees and farms and mountains and clouds fly by, sensing the perfectly aligned and harmonized gearshift lets me forget about time and space.
Striking along the dynamic steering wheel and feeling the powerful engine softly routing us through the narrow mountain roads brings me peace. The elegant, brilliant interior and the intuitive interface piloting every imaginable little something provide so much quietude and harmony that I am not even looking to ever arrive in Ischgl. I could continue for hours and hours gliding by the mighty and abundant mountain ranges of Austria until the glooming reminds us of day and time.
I start to feel at ease. Stillness is a beautiful state, especially when you float by endless lakes and clouds in the velocity of light. Nearly. The journey itself is the reward indeed. Porsche Panamera , you makes so grateful. You can always get me there. You always know how to bring me back. I know I can always take a seat, switch of past and future and submerge in the beauty of stillness with you.
