Crashing seas, picturesque landscapes and rich culture – that is Positano on the stunning Amalfi Coast in Italy. One of my favourite destinations of all times for a recreational weekend with good friends, delicious food and blazing sun. The girls and I got to enjoy a few wonderful days in Positano. We loved our recreative beach days, relaxed boat tours and adventurous sight-seeing trips. Most days we simply threw on a light summer dress and went for our typical summer make-up routine which is much lighter than normally and provides a stunning glow and adequate protection for hours of sunshine.
I usually started with the Giorgio Armani Maestro UV Skin Defense Primer SPF 50. It is my favourite primer for summer because it offers high protection from the sun while nourishing your skin with anti-oxidants. It also works for very sensitive skin such as mine. It is super light so it won’t leave you feeling sticky or greasy when it is hot out.

On top of the Primer I usually only add the Maestro Liquid Summer. This Bronzer gives you that special touch of summer sun without weighing you down. It is so light, airy and fine that you won’t even feel that you are wearing it. The light oils and mother-of-pearl pigments make you glow from within and make you look like you have already been on vacation for a week.

For my eyes I used the Life is a Cruise eyeshadow palette from Giorgio Armani. The warm, earthy colors give you a summery look and the soft textures feel absolutely luxurious and nurturing on your skin. A sensual experience all around! I also finished it up with some of my favorite Eyes to Kill eyeshadow tint Nr. 27 and 29. I feel like this colors go with every look and rounds it up perfectly.

These pictures were taken at the super romantic and equally stylish Villa Franca which was perfectly situated on a hill at the coast with a beautiful view on the sparkling sea. Such a stunning location!
